This Privacy Policy describes how TableForge ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our Shopify app and related services. By installing or using TableForge, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve the TableForge service. This includes:
Store Information
- Your Shopify store domain and myshopify.com URL
- Shopify access token (used to read/write metafields and page data)
- Store plan and billing information as provided by Shopify
- App installation and uninstallation timestamps
Table Content
- Table data you create or import (rows, columns, cell values)
- Table style configuration (colors, fonts, border settings)
- Table placement settings (which pages/products/collections a table is attached to)
- Google Sheets connection metadata (sheet URL, last sync time)
Usage Data
- App pages visited within the TableForge admin interface
- Feature usage events (e.g. table created, sync triggered)
- Error logs and crash reports for debugging purposes
- Browser type and OS for compatibility analysis

3. Data Storage & Security
Where your data is stored
TableForge stores all app data on servers located in the United States, hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure (currently AWS). Your Shopify access tokens and table configurations are stored in encrypted form at rest using AES-256 encryption.
How long we retain data
We retain your store data for as long as your TableForge installation is active. If you uninstall the app, we delete all associated store data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal compliance purposes.
Security measures
- All data transmission is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never logged in plaintext
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Shopify OAuth 2.0 protocol used for authentication — we never store your Shopify admin password
Note: While we implement industry-standard security practices, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to contact us immediately at privacy@tableforge.app if you believe your data has been compromised.
4. Third-Party Services
TableForge integrates with and relies on the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy that governs their use of your data.
Shopify

Google Sheets (optional)
Privacy Policy →Used only if you enable Google Sheets sync. We access only the specific sheet you authorize. Data shared: sheet content you explicitly connect to TableForge.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Privacy Policy →Cloud hosting infrastructure for our database and application servers. Data stored: all app data described in Section 1.
Analytics (optional)
Privacy Policy →Aggregate, anonymized usage analytics to improve product features. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. We honor these rights regardless of where you are located.
Right of Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and your store.
Right to Rectification
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data. Uninstalling the app triggers automatic deletion within 30 days.
Right to Portability
Receive your table data in a machine-readable format (CSV or JSON).
Right to Object
Object to our processing of your personal data for analytics or product improvement purposes.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or uninstalling the app.

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the additional right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we are processing your data in violation of applicable law.
For California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
